A stone-and-timber cabin alone on a high meadow outside Big Sky, with a deck facing the peaks and a gravel path through the grass to the door.

Inside, the rooms are panelled in cedar: a living room with a wood stove, a dining table for six, a simple kitchen and two bedrooms. Elk cross the meadow most evenings. The lifts are twenty minutes away; Yellowstone's west entrance is an hour south.
